Our Customer Charter
Our values guide how we treat you. We simply ask for the same in return.
Since 1974, Clearstone has been built around a simple idea: do great work, treat people properly and enjoy the journey along the way. These six values shape how our team works every day — and this Charter explains what that means for you.

A family business built on doing great work.
Since 1974, Clearstone has been more than just a cleaning company. We're a family-run business built on doing great work, communicating properly and looking after people's properties with care.
Our Customer Charter sets out the standards we hold ourselves to, what you can expect from us, and the small things that help us deliver our best service in return.
Six Values That Guide How We Work
Each value shows what we promise you — and the small thing we ask in return.
Do Great Work & Care About It
We'll take pride in the job, use the right method for the surface and treat your property with proper care.
We don't do the bare minimum and disappear. If we spot something that matters, we'll tell you — and if something isn't right, we'll work to put it right.
Basically: we want to leave your property looking better than we found it — not leave you wondering what on earth happened.
Help us look after your property
Tell us about anything fragile, unusual, sensitive or important before we start. The more we know, the better job we can do.
Enjoy The Process
Exterior cleaning doesn't need to feel like hard work for the customer. We'll be friendly, approachable and easy to deal with.
We'll keep things straightforward, communicate clearly and make the whole experience pleasantly uneventful.
The cleaning can be serious. We don't have to be miserable about it.
A bit of friendly communication goes a long way
If plans change or you're unsure about something, just tell us. We'd much rather a quick chat than a mystery to solve.
Create Value For Everyone
We'll be clear about what work is needed, what it costs and what you're paying for.
We won't recommend work just for the sake of selling it. The job should make sense for you, and the relationship for us too.
Good business should work for everyone involved.
Respect the agreement
Please respect agreed prices, appointment times and the time it takes to do the job properly. If something changes, give us reasonable notice.
Be Honest & Straightforward
We'll tell you the truth, even when the answer is not the easiest one.
No jargon. No pretending. No hiding behind vague emails. If something changes, we'll tell you — if something goes wrong, we'll own it.
We're much better at cleaning properties than spinning stories.
Be honest with us too
Tell us if something's worrying you, access is difficult, or you're not happy with something. Problems are easier to fix when everyone talks early.
Help Out
If we can help, we will.
That might mean answering a question, pointing something out, or going the extra mile when it genuinely makes a difference. We want you to feel looked after, not processed.
Sometimes the most useful thing we do isn't actually the cleaning.
Help us help you
Please provide safe access, secure pets where needed, flag any gates, parking or access issues, and point out anything fragile or sensitive before we visit.
Treat People Properly
We'll treat you, your family, your neighbours and your property with respect.
We expect our team to be polite, professional and considerate while they are at your home or business.
Good manners are still free — and we're big fans.
Treat our team with the same courtesy
We're happy to discuss concerns and disagreements — we just ask everyone stays respectful while we do it.
A Good Relationship Works Both Ways
We promise to bring our values to every job. All we ask is that our customers meet us somewhere in the middle: communicate openly, help us work safely, treat our team properly and tell us if something matters. That's usually all it takes to create great work, happy customers and a much easier experience for everyone.

Nobody Gets Everything Right Every Time
What matters is what happens next. If something unexpected happens, our values kick in: we take ownership, communicate clearly, help where we can and work to put things right.

When something unexpected happened, we stayed until it was right.
“I had Shaun and his team clean the rendering on my house and clean my patio. The house clean was fine but there was a problem with the patio sealer reacting to the steam clean. Shaun took full ownership of the problem that was compounded by the remedial chemicals being affected by the excessive heat this summer. Shaun kept us fully informed and when the weather cooled, he returned and fully resolved all the issues leaving us with a fully restored beautiful limestone patio. An excellent company, one you can trust.”
Old-Fashioned Values. Modern Communication.
We've been family-run since 1974, but that doesn't mean we're stuck in 1974. We use modern digital tools, before-and-after photos and our Customer Hub to help keep you informed and make property care simpler.
