The University of Exeter

Exeter University

Since June 2012 we have delivered window cleaning to the academic buildings and student residences at the University of Exeter.

We understand the needs of our academic clients, delivering services at times convenient for the academic calendar, and providing deeper cleaning in high demand areas.

The University includes buildings with access issues and so as well as our regular reach and wash system, we also employ abseil cleaning and the use of a 3.5 tonne lorry-mounted MEWP.

We’re proud to have developed an excellent relationship with the university and are being asked to clean further areas all the time.

National College for School Leadership, Nottingham on behalf of STQ and Sodexo

National college

We provide a range of specialist window cleaning services to the National College, meeting the complex requirements of this contemporary building.

The reach and wash system provides much of the exterior window cleaning, but this is complemented by a range of more technical approaches, including abseil cleans, the use of a MEWP for internal atriums, mobile pure water systems for internal wells and the external cleaning of glass atrium roofs using latchway systems.

Greater Manchester West Mental Health NHS Trust

Since 2006 we have provided daily cleaning services to GMWMH, our team of cleaners visit the Trust’s sites, which are used to deliver specialist services to adults and young people in mental health and substance misuse.

We clean offices, public reception areas, toilets (staff and those for service users) and bathrooms, kitchens and corridors. We have agreed schedules for the cleaning of areas with the local teams, all appropriate colour coded cleaning equipment, site specific files for risk assessments and method statements, procedures for infection control and a team of loyal, well-trained CRB cleared staff.

MediaCityUK, Salford

Oakley Maintenance was responsible for the builders’ and sparkle cleans to this high profile project in Salford for Bovis Lend Lease in 2010.

The builders and sparkle cleans were completed on BBC buildings A and B included high level external cleaning of cladding and windows, using on-site cradle and various sized MEWPs.

Dorset County Council

Western Counties Cleaning has since 2011 held the contract to deliver window cleaning to all council owned buildings, including schools, offices, libraries and community buildings. The majority of these buildings are cleaned using traditional techniques and the reach and wash system.

This is a complex contract to deliver, with many local sites, each of which have their own requirements for visit times around school terms, library opening hours and suchlike. We always endeavour to meet our client’s specific needs.
